Hi all, kindly give some tips about Air filter of Honda CG 125, or is there any special Air filter for Honda CG 125 which can give better performance and keep engine cool.
And also is the stock Air filter is enough for all whether conditions. Thanks.

I have found the solution for Polish and Waxing of Bikes and found that Formual 1 products are best...

Formula 1 Bike Clean
Formula 1 High-Performance Auto Care Products
Formula 1 Carnauba Wax
Formula 1 High-Performance Auto Care Products
Formula 1 Motorcycle Wax
Formula 1 High-Performance Auto Care Products

But where can we find geniune product... ?

Hi, all PakWheels members. I am creating this thread to get your experience and tips on how to well maintain a Honda CG 125 bike.
The PakWheel forum is full with different information regarding bikes, i wanted to create a collective thread specifically for Honda CG 125 bike.

SO please share your knowledge with all the PakWheels members and ofcourse with me too.

In general we have following questions:

1. What petrol to use?
2. What engine oil is best?
3. After how many Kilometers the engine oil should be changed?
4. What is the correct Air pressure for front and rear tyres?
5. Which tyre brand is best Servis, Panther or any other?
6. How can we maintain the shine and polish of the chrome and different body parts
7. How to service or wash your bike?
8. How to avoid rust on different parts of the bike?
9. Which parts of the bike can be obtained from Honda Parts dealers like Clutch levers, logo, etc to replace damaged parts of your bike.

And many more things...

So please guys give your worthful advice for all Honda CG 125 bike lovers.

I myself own a Honda CG 125 bike, and i am new to this bike.

Shell and Total is best..
Caltex Havoline
After every 1500kms
30 for front and 40 for rear
Servis all the way
For fuel tank, side covers you can use Formula-1 Scratch Out and for Chrome parts Turtle Wax
With sponge and you can use auto shampoos available in market
Use Kiwi Brasso to avoid rust
You can buy from a bolt to engine from AHL authorized antena dealers.

I also read one of the thread from @r1 and got following recommendations for polish and wax for bike:

Formula - 1 Scratch Out for Tank and Side Covers..
Brasso for Rims, Spokes and Handle Bars..
Revive-All or 7 CF for Tyres and Leather Parts..
Turtle Wax Chrome Polish for Chrome parts like exhaust..

I will try these soon.. can anyone tell where to buy these in Lahore?

yes it is good for muffler, mudguards, suspensions covers front/rear, rims and spokes...

Thanks @r1, my CG 125 muffler has a dark gray splash like mark which did not go away after applying Turtle wax. Dont know how this mark happened, some one told me that may be some plastic shopping bag touched when the muffler was hot and this left a dark mark of contact.

Although the shine has increased.

I applied it using a piece of cloth and left for 10 minutes and them wipped it off. Also i noticed that small spots of rust are still there and they did not go away as well, but they are less prominent.

How much quantity should i apply on any effected part, Thanks.

it can be removed with blade or cutter but at that exhaust should be hot..

Hi @r1, but the surface is totally plane, and smooth. Neither it feels sticky or something else.

I dont have the heart to use blade on it :(, afraid it would get worst.

My bike was kept standing for two days and i turned the fuel to off when i last parked my bike at home. When i turned the fuel On after two days the petrol started to over flow, the over flow stopped after few seconds, but lot of petrol fell out.

What might be the reason for this, any help in this issue.

Also can anyone explain when and why petrol overflow?

I am sharing my Opinion:-

1) Brother, Almost all Petrol Pumps are good but PSO is WORST!!! Shell and Caltex are Recommended!
2) Caltex Havoline ( If u find the Original SEALED )
3) In the OWNERS MANUAl, it is recommended to change Oil at every 800kms but Caltex Havoline works fine almost upto 1500km but i change mine after every 1000kms
4) Well, Its written on the Chain Cover but 30 at front and 40 at behind.
5) The Original Tyre is not that Bad but i used DIAMOND ALTIS tyre on my Cg. It really Increased performance and handling.
6) Regular Waxing keeps it Clean!!!
7) Avoid Washing your bike at HIGH pressure WATER, especially from service stations. it will spoil our Bike Stickers and May damage your ( Desi ) Paint

9) For Original parts, i go to HONDA MAKHDOOM AUTOs aat Mc Loed Road.

My Personal experience with FORMULA 1 SCRATCH OUT is bad!! Maybe because i bought it as i assumed it could remove scratches too but i didn't liked it. i Use COSMIC wax. If you have Black colour go for SOFT99.

Use TINY Scotch Brite and gently rub on the surface. It should work

I had a Oil change last month and i did that from Honda service station, i asked him to put Caltex Havoline, the Oil was in Light Pink or Red color.
Now i wonder i did not see what grade oil it was, it costed me Rs.400/-.
Which grade oil should i use, Thanks.
