it can be removed with blade or cutter but at that exhaust should be hot..

Hi @r1, but the surface is totally plane, and smooth. Neither it feels sticky or something else.

I dont have the heart to use blade on it :(, afraid it would get worst.

Is there any other way, thanks.

My bike was kept standing for two days and i turned the fuel to off when i last parked my bike at home. When i turned the fuel On after two days the petrol started to over flow, the over flow stopped after few seconds, but lot of petrol fell out.

What might be the reason for this, any help in this issue.

Also can anyone explain when and why petrol overflow?

The PakWheel forum is full with different information regarding bikes, i wanted to create a collective thread specifically for Honda CG 125 bike.

SO please share your knowledge with all the PakWheels members and ofcourse with me too.

In general we have following questions:

1. What petrol to use?
2. What engine oil is best?
3. After how many Kilometers the engine oil should be changed?
4. What is the correct Air pressure for front and rear tyres?
5. Which tyre brand is best Servis, Panther or any other?
6. How can we maintain the shine and polish of the chrome and different body parts
7. How to service or wash your bike?
8. How to avoid rust on different parts of the bike?
9. Which parts of the bike can be obtained from Honda Parts dealers like Clutch levers, logo, etc to replace damaged parts of your bike.

And many more things...

So please guys give your worthful advice for all Honda CG 125 bike lovers.

I myself own a Honda CG 125 bike, and i am new to this bike.

I am sharing my Opinion:-

1) Brother, Almost all Petrol Pumps are good but PSO is WORST!!! Shell and Caltex are Recommended!
2) Caltex Havoline ( If u find the Original SEALED )
3) In the OWNERS MANUAl, it is recommended to change Oil at every 800kms but Caltex Havoline works fine almost upto 1500km but i change mine after every 1000kms
4) Well, Its written on the Chain Cover but 30 at front and 40 at behind.
5) The Original Tyre is not that Bad but i used DIAMOND ALTIS tyre on my Cg. It really Increased performance and handling.
6) Regular Waxing keeps it Clean!!!
7) Avoid Washing your bike at HIGH pressure WATER, especially from service stations. it will spoil our Bike Stickers and May damage your ( Desi ) Paint

9) For Original parts, i go to HONDA MAKHDOOM AUTOs aat Mc Loed Road.

My Personal experience with FORMULA 1 SCRATCH OUT is bad!! Maybe because i bought it as i assumed it could remove scratches too but i didn't liked it. i Use COSMIC wax. If you have Black colour go for SOFT99.

Use TINY Scotch Brite and gently rub on the surface. It should work

I had a Oil change last month and i did that from Honda service station, i asked him to put Caltex Havoline, the Oil was in Light Pink or Red color.
Now i wonder i did not see what grade oil it was, it costed me Rs.400/-.
Which grade oil should i use, Thanks.

Well, that's Havoline for sure. No worries but i recommend you buying a sealed bottle from pump is much better. Grades are written in the owners manual

How should i wash or clean the engine, should i use a wet cloth? Please explain simple and easy way to wash and clean the engine, which do not harm the electrical or any other components. Thanks in advance.

Also i used Formula 1, CF7 and Turtle wax on my bike, it really shines like new...

But i was not very much satistied with the Turtle wax on Muffler, it did not give the smooth touch which Formula 1 gave on the Tank and side covers.

Just a high pressure water Brust on the engine is enough to remove mud off the engine. There are few products to use on engine but not mandatory. No worries of electrical wires etc. just use a cloth to dry and it will be new.

The turtle chrome wax Atleast prevents your metal from rusting

I recently got my bike chromed and painted but the issue i'm facing is that in just a month the rims got rusted. So I want expert opinions about how to get the rust removed! May I use Brasso or Turtle Chrome Wax? Or this rust can't be removed?

What is the best Idel RPM for Honda CG 125? on my bike it is just under 1500 as my meter indicates.

If i leave my bike on idel for sometime my bike engine stops :(, is there any problem with it? also i can notice knocking sound... which indicates its going to stop.

Kindly advice what should i do, i use Caltex or Shell, last time i took 5 liters of Caltex petrol.

Best idle speed is 1400.. if it turned off it then for sure carb needs fuel adjustment.

I purchased this bike couple of months ago and the person said he have the bike tunned. I am also noticing this issue now, i run this bike almost 1600Kms.

Also the problem happened in the morning, the bike started in first kick no issue at all, and i left it idel while i was getting ready. In the mean while the bike stopped.

Should i get it tunned now? or Will adding some Hi-Octane with my next re-fill solve the problem?

Is Carb fuel adjustment a simple task or it will require to open the carb?

Its a simple work you can do it easily. There is a screw under the carb fuel adjusts with the help of it.

Well you can adjust the carburettor screw but about the knocking issue, there are 2 causes;

1) Impure Petrol.
2) Dusty condition of Air Filter.

Tuning will Insha Allah solve your issue if done by an expert
