If this is true, then expect a dirty business strategy from Atlas Honda. It won't be the first time - they did the same with Black Color CG125, making it the most desirable product. To increase the demand and hype, too fee units were sent to the market and a price much higher than the actual, but that was long ago.
I don't think AHL will ever stop production of such a bike. Don't forget that Punjab Police is one of the biggest contracts they have, and i am pretty sure they have links deep inside the Government, which might be why they are always able to score such big contracts, without any problem from the competition (lets not forget the Ravi Piaggio vs AHL CG125 big contract fiasco a few years ago ... to Army and Punjab Poilce, was it? I don't know ... but AHL eventually won it)
Of course there is no concrete evidence so consider these to be just my thoughts. But i am not really hoping anything better from AHL, even if they 'are' playing dirty after Yamaha's arrival. Also consider the fact that its been weeks, and there is absolutely NOTHING being done from AHL's side; no hint or intro of a new, improved or better product, something which could compete with the YBR. (Sadly, the illiterate mechanics are still taking Honda's side. Almost ALL of the mechanics i have visited, are dissing the new YBR, and still favoring Deluxe over it. WTF, right? These people deserve to get old sh*t tech from stone age. Morons)
