Dear Members i have found some minor faults in cg.. kindly guide how to fix... tomorrow i will go for first tuning...

Q1.... when i suddenly decelerate my bike from top speed , a weird phat phat sounds come from silencer (some times)...

Q2.. Fuel average of my bike is 36 km/ltr on highway.. is it ok ? will it increase after first tunning?

Q3.. When i switch off engine after a drive a minor tick......... tick..........tick sounds come from engine.. why this is so??

ans 1 ans. check the gap of sprak plug it should be .08mm-.09mm
ans 2 ans it will be get better after first tunning
ans 3 it totally normal nothing to worry

first of all phat phat sound should gone away after tuning tell mechanic bike is producing
phataka sound when suddenly decelerate speed

Fuel average if you are were at high speed on highway than average seems fine CG125 is not
economical machine specially at higher speed all bikes drinks lot of patrol

Tik tik sound from engine Ohhh that very normal many engine does this sound even cars engine
so don't worry about this at all my CD70 also produces this kinda sound but CG125 produce a bit
more & contineous sound tir tir tir

Today my bike meter is now 860 km ..Yesterday i decided to go on long road trip to lhr... I unleashed my cg dream and found him very comfortable ..... top speed was above 100 km/hr .... anyone has cg dream ??? what is top speed?

Bro you have covered only 860 kms since 11th July 2014 I though that I have very low mileage but yours is lowest

This phat phat sound should be eliminated after tuning.
36 kms / litre on long route is low average. I hope this will also be fixed after tuning.
Tik tik sound is normal. Dont worry about it. Its sound of colling of engine.
I also have CG Dream but not checked its top speed so far. Never gone beyond 70

but kindly be careful and check top speed on some clean & well known road

Amjad bhai v hectic schedule at office. Whenever i got free time i will take it on long drive, i feel that checking top speed on streets / within city is stupidity,

Dear Farhansa truly speaking , minus 400 km from 860 km , coz i did this 320 day before yesterday.... i am regular viewer of ur post and realized we both have very low mileage.. so i decided not to be at bottom line and gone for long trip.. now its your turn.. isd to muree
