Honda CG125 Deluxe: Engine Swap & Other Performance Modifications

Asalam O Alikum PW Members, My brother and I wanted to take the initiative to modify Honda Deluxe CG 125 for performance. Bike is of 2010 model and in good condition.
What can be done, possibly engine swap and brakes etc. Replies would be heavenly appreciated.

Current Shape and Looks - Its beats any 125/150 on road from first Gear to Top gear and give a Gap of 1+Km or even more in a 3~4KM drag easily, roars like R6, proper Heavy Sound no DUG BOG DUG BG ...

I am currently in Islamabad so my radius is Rawalpindi and Islamabad.

a bratherana mashwara... dont do it ....

it was a hell to alter a Deluxe because it has a very less room to put any bigger engine in it... the whole frame was cut into peices and assembled back to make it fit a new BIG A$$ engine in it ...

Dont alter a Deluxe a lot of money and a mechanic who wants to ruin his nights in alteration atleast for a month will be needed to do that..

chooose GS150, Hero 125 (china), dead or worn of Piaggio as they all have a big engine compartment and most of the CB engine specially in case of paiggio are bolt on fitting so not alterations are required or slight modification do the job nicely...

if he likes Deluxe let him purchase it its a nice bike but not at all good for alteration platform!

dont suggest it but if you wan to do it here are some safe suggestion

plug change to iriduim sport plug
sporty digital cdi unit with coil
extra full magnet change to bigger
want more speed go for a 200cc carburetor

these all are safe to do on normal engine if full engine i suggest a Chinese liquid cool 200 to 250xx with brake mod must rest up to you pics for reference

I think this is the same bike which is standing in bilal ganj in fron of waseem/hanif shop right ? it has a 200cc China engine in old Lifan China bike.

Dear vicky, I am mostly a passive reader of "modification of bikes type" forum. In past, I have read your project posts with interest. Today I just created my pakwheel login account to ask a question; when we swap a bigger engine is it permissible in law and can we get its number on bike's book?

hello and wellcome @maq9211 yes but you will need an orignal reciept of the shop from where you bought the new engine and will submit it along with orignal file of the bike to authorities and the wil update your bikes engine number and CC and all the details..

Buddy thanks for your quick reply. Another thing, is there any limit for cc to increase? eg. a 200 cc bike can go upto 250 or 350 legally. Regards

there is no legal limit but yes every chasis has its physical limit for bigger engine.. more big engine more stress on chasis more prone to deadly crash.

yes we friends are fitting even way more Hot engines in our rides these days... same are fitable to Deulxe Super Star as well..
