Honda CG125 engine swap - XL250 engine in CG125

Salam to all PW.

I have a 1990 Honda CG125. I am thinking of putting in XL250 engine into the bike to get some more power and torque. The 248cc 4-stroke motor produces 24 horsepower at the wheel. Please find the photos attached of the XL250 engine.

I heard that lot of guys put XL trail engines in Honda CB's like CB180, CB250 & CB350. They mostly are with XL engines, aren't they

Some of the XL250 specs:

Engine: 4 - stroke, OHC single cylinder 248cc

Bore & Stroke: 74 X 57.8 mm

Compression: 9.1 :1

BHP/rpm: 20 @ 8000 rpm

Transmission: 5 Speed, constant mesh

It doesn't look like it's bolt on is it ?

Even if it is the engine itself looks in pretty poor condition. Better get chinese replica's they are available in 150 200 250cc.
@hidalgo was selling one sometime ago. It was bolt on Cg
