Honda city is a car which itself is bad engineering interms of everything a car is NOT supposed to be lol.

i have used 3 of these, extensively. 2013, and 2015. The only issue i remember is that the 1.3 prosmatic had issues of not accelerating at times when parking in slow

Honda City has so many problematic issues but one of them is related to AC. Ice freezing on AC pipes. I bought new car from 3S Dealer Honda showroom and soon after 2 months my car AC started Ice freezing on pipes and no cooling inside the car passenger cabin. It was very tough and challenging for me to bear that difficult time. Even dealership MAINTAINENCE team got any clue why does it happen in between 2000-3000kms RPM. I have faced this problem more than 2 years and I had later come to know that it’s not the size male case facing me only, there are so many customers who are facing such problems whereas MAINTAINENCE team are doing hit and trial method to solve this problem.

Could you pass on your comments on this issue?

I have honda city Aspire 1.5PT just 900km driven. So far no issue with AC, cooling is superb. But there are some build quality and workmanship issues like interior panels are not well aligned, gaps between them is uneven, bad quality of navigation unit, gap in roof insolation, floor carpet is loose. Checked others new cities as well and all have same issues. As it was launched 9 years before so seems like parts are mostly localized and quality is decreased. I was not expecting this in 2 million plus car. Even my local Alto 2005 has better build quality.

Can you kindly share the images of interior issues which you are saying that they are not aligned properly or as you said it has a gap among them..
