Honda CIty 1.3 A/T OR 1.5 A/T ? Plz Help me!

Salam Everyone.
I am planning to buy Honda City Automatic transmission but confused between 1.3 & 1.5 because most people here say 1.3 is an under power car.(don't know what does it mean.i don't wanna race it)
my new city would be used as a 2nd car hardly twice a week.trip to northern areas once a year.now plz give your valuable suggestions.

Automatic cars are generally slugish in pick, 1.3 is actually underpowered, and that means whenever you will press the padle it will be 'slow' to pick up and accelerate, plus 1.5 auto has more resale value than 1.3
Rest, choice is all yours.

Once saw 1.3 City Auto in Muree near GPO chowk, unable to come on to mall road from steep slope comming up, helped myself to push that to bring up...City was occupied with family with 2 kids....may be some luggage in boot...but after that....I realised never buy 1.3 engine.....min is 1.5.

I myself will be booking 1.5 manual next month IA.

I am sort of a car enthusiast that needs power and power from the car, so automatic is not what attracts me .. But is great for family use and for females, a sure thing.

Drove my friends 1.3 AT City recently. Did not like the response of throttle at all. Very delayed response from the transmission plus you have give unnecessary high RPMs to the engine for the transmission to react and give you some sort of decent acceleration. I believe 1.5 AT will perform much better.

Personally I have 1.5 MT and believe me the slight push of throttle and the response is amazing. Very happy with my decision to buy it.

If you are not racing. Then 1.3 is enough.
The guy on mall road murree obviously didn't kniw D1 Or D2 gear. If you know how to push pedal 1.3 will not feel sluggish. Its all hoax.
It all comes to your bugdet..

Go with 1.5 Auto as there is hardly any difference between the price. Plus, if you buy 1.3 you have to pay the taxes of 1.5

Are you sure 1339cc and 1500cc ka token tax yearly same ha?

Yup....city is now 1339cc and has now moved to upper tax bracket as per government policy.....

1.3L city is 1339cc and 1.5L city is actually 1497cc so they fall in the same tax bracket

Yes, the price difference is only 50k. So you'll get more power with 1.5

brother i have kept all versions. 1.3 auto 2015, 1.5 auto 2015, and one manual.

the worst one is 1.3 auto in all terms...bad milleage, bad resale, and it wont go above 120 on plain road unless you move to d3 gear which is not recommended at this speed....1.5 auto is best,

overtaking on highway is sluggish....no joy

if you want 1.3 then go for manuallll this is the best in all terms for pakistanis....still underpowered

I think there was something terribly wrong with your 1.3 auto. My car goes to 180+ without any problem on motorway . Easily overtakes on highway. Just have to press the pedal right
