Honda City 1.3 base version or ASpire 1.5

I wanted to ask if I should go for city 1.3 base version or aspire 1.5....The price difference between them is nearly 1,40,000....considering i need fuel efficient car and I will be driving mostly alone.....thank you...(p.s. I think city 1.3 aspire is a useless car with normal market goodies indtsllaed for tripple the price...)

Go for city 1.3L base version, and use the left money on the car.

if i had the extra cash would go for Aspire because despite the extra bucks, I will get a full packaged car with decent alloys , nav /multimedia, seat covers and other such things and peace of mind of not installing after market stuff and no need to go to market n waste time.
( though they are much less costly & also you can have better quality at times too
In the end its up to you, what suits you the best, you can save bucks if you want or haveit all in a go from company.

as i said it is not about the goodies....it is about the 1.5L engine......how better is the 1.5 engine as compared to the 1,3 base version.......is it worth the cost.....since the honda city internationally is available in th 1.5l variant only....1.3 variant is only available in pakistan.....

1.5 engine is a lot better then 1.3 version .plus with the stupid so called 1369 cc gamble that people who have bought recently say is nothing but to appease the government so that the govt could charge more tax for it . Go for 1.5 you will not regret your decision .

I own the 1.3l M/T base version and I'm happy with my choice. No doubt 1.5l Aspire will be a better option but it depends on a person's budget. Fuel economy of the 1.3l M/T is excellent though, power is not so much but enough.

If you are not concerned with the budget and can afford slightly less fuel average then go for 1.5L as it is more powerful and fun to drive.

I dont know why 1.5L City is available in aspire only....why we have 1.5 in base variant......

I have the delivery of my Aspire 1.5 MT this month and I had picked it for the following reasons:
- Delivery time of less than a month (only for MT) Rest variants go from 5 to 7 months and is sold in black for an extra 1.7-2.0 lac if you want it quick.
- There's no hassle of adding extras as this car comes fully loaded. You don't have to void the warranties by installing aftermarkets. I do accept that the goodies that aspire has to offer come in pretty cheaper in local modification shops. But then again, getting your car quick and loaded with everything with added trust and peace of mind sort of makes sense. I dont get the psyche of people who buy the base variant for almost the same as that of this variant by illegally paying 'own' money and then spending more on aftermarket products.
- Fuel economy was my concern too. I had the suspicion that a 1.5L engine would definitely cost more fuel but then, the 1.3L engine is pretty fine given the kerb weight of City but the 1.5L engine somewhat reasons a tad bit more with the kerb weight. The Aspire 1.5 also comes with an economy gauge in the instrument cluster which is exclusive to this variant only (both for MT or PT). 1.4-1.5-1.6L engines usually are better on paper in terms of fuel economy if they are driven in a proper fashion as they do more justice to the kerb weight. 1.8L is definitely overpowered. But then, I'm no expert and this is mostly theoretical speculation.

Congratulation brother,you wont regret the decision , 1.5 engine is worth its price , i owned an 1.5 aspire Pros and it was good, especially when going on hilly areas or with heavy luggage n fully occupied cabin, you wont feel under powered

2ndly just the point you mentioned , all factory installed goodies with peace of mind.
Nav/ Multimedia unit is pretty good.
