HiI am facing a problem with City 1.3 M/T i-vtec 2010. The engine abruptly goes off when driving on low RPM like 40kms in 3rd or 4th gear for a little long like 5+ KMS. All electric things like fan lights keep on running and it takes self smoothly.Engine starts after a few tries (taking the key out of egnition & putting it back in) and the car starts running absolutely fine as if it never had a problem.
Please advise
Sounds like electrical issue to me.check battery terminals, fuse/relays etc.Do get it checked by an experienced electrician, stay away from stealership!
Defective fuel injectors causes decreased flow towards the engine. Use a fuel injector cleaner first to avoid bara kharcha. STP is a better brand.
Apparently seems to be a problem with fuel supply.
Hi allThe problem I was facing was due to the tracker installed in the car. As I was not using the service of the tracking company from the last five years. The device installed was not getting it's required maintainance including the rechargable batteries were not changed from a long time and started malfunctioning resulting in cutting power to fuel supply at a certain speed. So I took the tracker out from a Honda qualified electrician and since then Alhamdolillah the car is running absolutely fine.So it is suggested to all those who have decided not to use the services of their tracking company to also remove the tracker from their cars before the device starts malfunctioning resulting in unexpected worries/problem for the drivers.
