i have honda city 2019 prosmatic i want to chage the tyre aand rim kindly sugesst me
if i go for 195 15 .. what do u think. doest it effect to the suspension

Go for 185 65 r15...I changed my tyres to them 2 years ago...when I got my brand new city manual...have used them for 2 years and done 75000 km without any problem and had my suspension checked today and they are still in perfect condition...

bro you are right 185 65 r15 is perfect...

but what if we go for 195 65 r15.. what do you think i dnt care about the average
but if it doesnt effect to the suspension or any part of he body

The difference is only of 1 cm so the difference in ride quality is negligible.

Brother I think 185/65/R15 is the most nearest and balanced size, to the stock tyre size of Honda City; 175/65/R15.

Well, I have also seen 195/65/R15 installed in City and working fine.

Irrespective 185 size or 195 size, in both cases, there would be some speedometer error. Speed in actual will be more, but on speedometer it will be less, resulting in Challans.

If going for up-size, keep tyre pressure slightly less when compared to stock size. 32 psi in 175/65/R15 Vs. 32 psi in 195/65/R15 makes lot of difference.

Recommended brands are Michelin (Energy Saver series), Bridgestone (Ecopia series), and lastly, Continental.

Dunlop and Yokohama may be avoided.

In RIMS, if affordibility is not an issue, I would suggest to invest in some quality rims (being one time investment), and go for either LENSO original, light weight rims, made in Thailand, or Vossen light weight rims.

I do not know about the size of Vossen rims (that whether available in 15" or not), however, LENSO is available in 15" (15" is the starting size of LENSO rims, provided these are original. Fake / copies can be available in less than 15" sizes).

Well i have shared in detail long ago on pak wheels about the inside and out side off set of after market Rims pros and cons in very much detail on the tyre upsize....

More than 80% owners do a mistake unknowingly.... They do not put correct upsize tyres as per within 3% deviation range.

In short to help you out.

The closest match tyre size which will give you the utmost comfort with best handling along with a ride height which won't hamper your car driving dynamics rather improve it is
195/60-R15 1.03% deviation as per almost all tyre upsize calculators

195/65-R15 which mostly people put deviates more than 4.25% which is not allowed. I kept the city and with back to back comparision with a friend found to be 195/65 much bouncy and unstable .....

The second closest match is 185/65-R15 which is 2.14%

I would strongly recommend for 195/60-R15.

As per my experience 185 65 r15 is best....and get softer tyres as they increase the life of your suspensions and shocks....as the tyres act like shocks themselves...

Nops rather what 90% people think it is opposite to it. 65 will be more bouncy ... one feels continuously bouncing on the road mark my words...

Calculate the tyre wall aspect ratio mm you will come to know what i mean.....

I have this extensive research of wrong RIM & tyre selection after effects .

In short this is the 100% perfect fit....

195/65 will make your car more unstable at cornering and long curves / zig zagging.... even 175 is far better than it..... the aspect ratio diff alter the drive and stability altogether.

I am getting what you are thinking.....

Its side wall thickness will be between 175 / 65 & 195 / 65... which is perfect for giving cushioning along with firm grip....

Eyes closed .... you will feel more plush / comfortable and at the same time Gripy along with getting rid of scratching its middle muffler and front mud flaps. 100%.

Till 94000 kms with my beloved City my first ever owned car ( all previous belonged to parents.. lol) i have tried 190/60 & 185/65.... both found to be better than 175/65 but 195/60 is the best which i drove straight 65k kms...

195/60 you can find in Yoko advan db, maxxis MAP1, Maxxis Waltz MS800.... rest as i sold the car back in 2016 so don't know other brands offering 60...

I upgraded my honda city 2019 tyre size from 175/65/R15 to 195/65/R15 and they are working perfectly fine with negligible changes in fuel economy but much better in grip
