I do travel from Samanabad to Garden Town, Gulberg, DHA, Emporium etc. That's it. These are the places where I usually drive.
All these places are congested areas. So it makes sense that a 1.3L Prosmatec is doing 8km/l. Try changing your route a bit and your driving style as well as suggested above
It touches to 16.1kml when I was driving on a main Rd. Will be going out after 12o clock to test it again.
Haha! Your suggestion is now emphasising me to go for a Honda Civic now. Khair, I have noticed the engine capacity isn't enough for this sedan body with a Prosmatic gear.

Mine 1.3 PT is 800KM driven and giving the same average with light foot .. which is 10 KM / L on average with AC on Full time.
Try to use Hi-octane to make your car more responsive. Clean airfilter on weekly basis.

Yes. But with the normal fuel you will notice a lag and a sluggish ride. That's why I recommended u if you want more power from your car.

Mine City Aspire 1.5 gives 12.6 km/l in city with full AC
change your fuel station. i switched to the one in diplomatic enclave here in Islamabad and believe me my cars adds up about 2 to 3 kilometers per liter as compared to any roadside pumps. it was hard to believe for me initially but that is the case
Now, I'm refueling my car from Total which Porsche Center Lahore even suggest to. And, whenever I go there I usually see a Mercedes, Lexus, Porsches in a queue. However, fuel average is better now. But, car feels more responsive.

Drive light foot. Avoid instant breaking. Accelerate in a pulsed manner rather than consistently. All these techniques can give you at the most 9.5 kmpl in congested traffic areas with full AC. And for a prosmatic this is a very good average rest assured.
