Honda city 1.5 prosmatec 2015 vs corolla gli 2015 auto

Assalamu alaikum brothers .
I was looking for automatic sedan car. Then I found two cars first one is honda city aspire 1.5 prosmatec 2015 metallic steel color 34k driven total genuine first owner demanding 22 lac and second one is auto gli 1.3 2015 silver colour 85k driven demanding 25 lac.
I want ur suggestion, which car should i buy. I live in rural areas . Which car is best with respect to fuel economy , resale, comfort and reliability ?

Manual Gli 2017-18 should be better, don’t go for Automatic unless you are getting Altis 1.6 which would be out of your budget. This is the general advice here on the forums but i have seen people get a lot of good use from a gli 1.3 auto and driven with light foot and patience it performs decently.

Decision is yours, but i would stay away from Honda City if i have to go rural even once a year

Automatic GLI is a donkey cart... undercapacity engine
City is also quite outdated. Get a zero meter Yaris 1.3 Manual Gli instead if you have a budget of 2.5 Million

1.6 Altis is good but it won't as much be fuel efficient

Gli 1.3 has worse fuel average among all Corolla auto variants, no pleasure in driving as well. I second opinion of another member, instead of spending 2.x million on 6 years old car, buy Yaris manual in this budget, new car, peace of mind and excellent fuel economy. You will be tension free for at least next 3-5 years...

What about yaris auto 1.3 ?
Actually i want an automatic transmission, it is very comfortable in heavy traffic of cities.

Yaris 1.3 Auto is good choice, It's CVT and new upgraded 1.3 engine, It's fuel economy is much better than Corolla. About market rates: Used car markets is messed up. Dealers created a great panic and people are also gone crazy. Demands are insane. So better to buy some brand new car, instead of buying used car at such ballooned prices.

In your list above, Yaris have better fuel average then city and Gli stands at last step in this comparison. In suspension and comfort Corolla stands out among three.

Yaris Ativ X is miles ahead in every aspect, not just fuel economy that is more than 20 kilometer per liter which no other sedan can even think of, city hardly manages 14 to 16...

As regards comfort, Ativ X is next level, smooth CVT shifting super soft suspension and a feature packed futuristic cabin.
Corolla 1.3 is quite inferior, infact the auto variant is a nightmare, manual one can be driven but you always feel degraded.

One thing that Corolla stands out in is size, looks very beautiful but at compromise on driving comfort and amenities.

After driving Ativ X or Grande when you drive Gli you feel deprived, there is no stability control in gli at high speeds you get a surprise when it gives the Legendary Jhoul... a byproduct of soft suspension, this loss of control or jhoal hardly exists in Grande and Yaris thanks to VSC.

Further once you get the taste of Smart Entry, Climate Control and Acoustic Sound Proofing you feel incomplete in Gli which does not even offer any steering controls or MID

To conclude, buying corolla Gli is like falling in love with Rekha Ji in 2021... its now an obsolete product

Otherwise no doubt new car is a peace of mind if you can afford. Btw asked last week about Altis 1.6 booking 10 lakhs Delievry October not sure about Yaris
