Honda City 1.5L (2024 Steering Issue

Hey everyone!
I just got a Honda City 1.5L 2024 and swapped the stock Euro Star 175/65R15 tires for some Continental 195/65R15s. The new tires make the car drive so much better overall. But, since switching to the bigger size, I've noticed the steering is a lot harder, especially after making U-turns—it doesn't self-center as freely anymore. Any advice or thoughts on this?

This is because you’ve chosen oversize tires for your vehicle

If it comes with 175mm from factory, then 185mm is the max. width you can go. Above than 185, the wheel width definitely be an issue for the system to turn who is not actually designed to run/turn the 195mm wider wheels.

It seems this is something you have to live with now

I switched to 185 / 65 and can confirm that everything is normal.

How long do the stock oem tires last for anyway? My is now 2 years old and has done around 11900kms.

Stock Euro's are really pathetic tyre when it comes to road noise and road grip, if you have 1.5L city go with 1up size at least, your entire drive quality will improve drastically and go for top tier tire (German, Japanese etc.). As for tire life it really depends on how they have been driven but on an avg they should last 35k to 45k easily!

No. I was on stock size and went one size up only.
