Honda City 17 Engine oil

Hey Pakwheelers,

I have read multiple blogs on City engine oil and still not sure which one to use for new engine.
current mileage on my car is 2k and i would like to get it changed before 2500, I have read few posts saying Honda is using Total's engine oil and re-branding it with Honda motor oil which create scepticism,
Few are the options i have shortlisted.

5W30 or 5W/40
Mobile1, Liqui Moly, Shell, Castrol or you suggest?

Please share your experiences. i would highly appreciate your input on this.

Brotherly advice
You got New car and its better to use company services for maintenance
Stick to company (Honda-5w40) oil and change interval should be 4000 do change oil filter every time u change oil even if Honda mechanic will tell you to change at 10000

I m using honda oil in my city 2015 for last 30,000 km never went to any road side mechanic and car is running perfectly Mashallah

u must use honda genuine oil 5w30. . .its company policy else engine warranty void. . .change at 5000 kms. . .in Rs. 2400/-. . .i got on 13th dec 2016 n chnged at 5200km. . .doing fine n awesome mileage !

honda oil is good enough. 2010 city, near 120k, use only 5w-30 from honda. Engine is still in great condition.
