I have city 1999. Giving milage 10.11 in Lahore. Is it OK?. It has 280k on meter.

Yes bro, change your fuel filter and also get your injectors cleaned from someone who has the equipment. Which oil are you using at the moment? Also tell the viscosity of the oil.

Your suggestions were already acted upon: Carburetor serviced. Plug changed. Fuel lines checked. Havoline 20w. Filters always changed with oil change. Using tank full to tank full method for milage calculation. ( Being frowned upon by colleagues for low milage.)

Fuel filter has to be changed after like 30K km, not with every oil change (pic of filter attached for reference, as it is often neglected; around 500 rs). As for your oil, if you do not see any leaks or there is no reduction in oil, switch to 10w40. Also put half a bottle of LiquiMoly MOS2 (around 1 thousand rupees, lasts for two oil changes) along with your oil when you change your oil next time. It will make a protective film on your engine's internals, which will reduce friction and also protect your engine, engine's sound will be reduced and you will feel it running smoother. Then add the other half of the bottle in the 2nd oil change. As for your friends, a 20 year old engine, driven around 280k giving 11kmpl is not bad at all, my efi 2002 exis city gives around 12 as well.

Oh. I confused fuel filter with air and oil filter. Good point. I will do it. Other is also affordable.

Aoa... My city 2002 gets very loud when I turn on the ac. It cools perfectly but when the ac system us turned on, the car becomes very loud..the compressor causes that sound... Whats the solution? Do I need to replace the compressor?

Walaikum us salam bro, you will need to get your ac system serviced and most importantly get the oil of your compressor checked. I think it will be low, inshAllah your problem will be resolved. Don't think about changing parts so quickly, first go for repairing.

Yes, 300ML. Add 150 ML per oil change, you will see the results after the first oil change. Ceratec by liquimoly is even better, but its expensive. But it can last upto 50k kms. However, mos2 is sufficient enough and you will like the results.
