Honda City 2004 Radiator Problem

I just have purchased an old Honda City I-DSI 2004 model a few months ago, it is going smoothly but the problem its radiator was using much water (bottle get empty after 2 days) i just noticed last day that uppar water body of radiator has leaking (not much). I used coolant in reserve bottle as well as in radiator and its color showed me the leakage. Now i am confused as my mechanic said i should need to change radiator (which is costing 3500-4500) and one person said you should change water body and flush your radiator so it will work fine. Water body is around (700-1200). So i am still confused what to do.. Any Suggestions?

if the radiator top tank is leaking - replace the radiator, inspect the water pump weep hole for excessive water leakage. If you have any leakage then change the pump.

Before changing the pump - do a full and proper flush and install good coolant in the system..

I had replaced my city 2004 upper radiator body, years back and its still perfect today. Trust me its safe. In my case the top was broken from one point.
In ur case , it may due to gasket isssue (rubber lining surrounding the upper radiator body).

the gaskit is fine, i have checked the oil and i have also consulted the mechnic, the leakage is from the uper tank, its decreasing reserve water from bottle (half glass per two days). I have 100Km daily travel. The water leakage starts when i stops the car and then slowly it is getting to leak.

Pani behta nhn just water body k sath sath phelta hai, might be from some point tanki is leacking or seaming.....

1. change the water body
2. radiator service from a good radiator wala (by taking the radiator out)
3. new coolant

Dont make jugaars in old cars, honda is sensitive car....

The best solution is to change the radiator but if there are budgetary constraints, then upper tank can be replaced. It has to be done very carefully and there will never be peace of mind because it might leak again any time.

The radiator guys will charge you half the price of a new radiator for just the upper tank. In my eyes, it is a bad deal.

Replace the radiator and enjoy peaceful motoring. Take Xulfiqar's advice.

same issue wana replace radiator ..but city 99 radiator is available thaikool brand and i can see the label donot mix the coolant ....

one radiator wala suggest me to install toyota radiator double channel .... really confused
