Once you have removed the throttle body then why did you not clean the idle control sensor by opening it and later at end you need to throw few drops of oil inside it.
Cleaning from outside would have helped as few petrol would have made its way through the idle control sensor but its always better to open and clean the idle control sensor.
Removing and cleaning Intake manifold should not had been difficult once you have already removed the throttle body but that required a 12ββ T.
I assume, this part would never had been serviced.
