Honda City 2005 Transmission Issue
Yesterday, while driving my 2005 Honda City with automatic transmission, the car suddenly lost speed, and the "D" indicator started blinking continuously. I applied the brakes and switched the car off and on again, but the "D" indicator kept blinking. The car then started moving at 3000 RPM, both in reverse and forward gears. I had an electrician thoroughly inspect the vehicle, and the fault code 38-01 (P1894) - CVT Drive Pulley Pressure Control Valve Malfunction was detected. Despite several attempts, the electrician advised that I consult a specialist in transmission systems.
Could you kindly provide any suggestions or recommendations? If it is indeed a transmission issue, could you also recommend a reliable mechanic in Karachi who can resolve this problem? The car is reaching 3000 RPM, which suggests that it might not be shifting gears properly. Please guide me on the next steps.
