I have bought Honda City 2005 Vario, 189,000 on odometer. Before buying the car, it was inspected by local mechanic and he recommended to buy this car.
I was noticing some vibration in car body when I press break and switch gear from "P" to "D", after releasing break and pressing accelerator, there is no vibration in car.
Today I went to Honda 3S dealership, they inspected the car and said that "it is CVT issue, we will try to fix in step 1, if it is not fixed in step 1, it can be fixed by replacing transmission that will cost Rs. 130,000/"
1. Change transmission oil
2. Throttle body service
3. Control body valve service
4. Some CVT calibration using OBD device
and it will cost 12000/- to 15000/
Now, expert advice is needed
1. Should I go for step 1?
2. Is there any local mechanic that can do Step 1 perfectly for Honda City
