Honda city 2006 hard steering

Salam all. I’ve honda city idsi 2006. It has steering problem. At first when i had my car washed steering became hard then i went to electrition he cleared errors and then it was fine one day later i went out in rain and the steering became hard again and steering lights popped up in meter again. Next day i went to electrition he said there are two errors
1: Torque sensor coil malfunction 2: torque sensor temperature (something like that I’m not sure what’s it exactly)
So he cleared error but now sometimes it becomes hard by itself then when I restart my car it goes away and steering is okay but after driving some miles it becomes hard again. What’s problem and what should i do. Plz guide

Do u feel play in steering as well? As well

I had exactly same issue in one of previous cars.

Weak battery or loose battery terminals
Water/moisture in steering rack electrical connector because i drove in rain flooded road.

Solution is to chexk battery and clean dry the connectors of EPS rack.

If u want to avioid visiting the electriciation to clear code and u dont have a scanner which could clear the eps code, here is the procedure to clear eps code.

Issue to torque sensor ka hi hai but ur kanghii needs replacement. I recently replaced complete kanghi of idsi in 17k.. steering is now back to normal. Spent lot of time wasting money on sensors and mechanics

Since the issue started after washing the car, i would advise to chexk the electrical grips and and drying them.
As i said, my 05 city was throwing all kind of errors due to loose/mositured electrical grips of eps.

Before spending money, its worth trying. If the issue still exists then go for other options.
