Honda city 2009 pick/fuel consumption issue

I owned City 09 . Recently changed the plugs Laser iridium tip Total milage of the car is 85k . The basic issue with the car was related to pick and acceleration started with the knocking then i switched to high octane knocking issue got 70% resolved but the engine has no power even on high octane . Unable to overtake confidently in the traffic bcz whenever i press the peddle harder the car gets slow and catches speed damn slowly .. plz tell me what to do bcz nobody has diagnosed the issue yet.

Check clutch plates simple

Just check clutch plates plus get ur fuel pump checked ....

Maybe the fuel pump or injectors would be chocked. Try STP fuel system cleaner. This might solves your problem, get your cars clutch plates too.

Changing clutch plates would resolve the issue ? U sure ?? + After changing the plugs average reduced to 8-10 from 13-15 .. injectors are fine used fuel system cleaner twice but nothing happened

Some times pick up issue is associated with clutch plates if ur engine is ok and without knocking then its the issue of clutch plates .
U might have installed the wrong ( faulty) plugs.get that checked too.

I've replaced new plugs with the old ones but the avg is still b/w 8 to 10 plus 1 more thing i've forgot to mention that at the time of installation of the new plugs i also changed tyres from euro star 175 R to Dunlop 195/65 R but at that time everything was fine average was 13 - 14 but pick issue was still there.

Recently gone through from the computer diagnostic checkup from Honda pit stop .. they told me that everything​'s fine... I glad that they are also unable to trace the problem .. :"(

Not a big issue...get tuning done and post the pics of plugs u installed...and one more thing city is already sluggish specially with ac

Laser iridium tip is recomended for aspire 1.5 if you have basic model simply install ngk platinum plugs .change the fuel filter too

Bro ye new plugs hen and I've mentioned above k ye plugs nikalwa kr phr se old plugs dalwa diye thy to see the difference in the average but nothing happened... Plus jo genuine plugs hen wo isi k sath k hen .. diagnostic readings are perfectly fine mechanic says bhai apka weham hai ... Sir sluggish hai lekin ye tau us se b nichay agai hai ... I'm getting 9.9 avg on just 40 km/h local with high octane

Abrul rehman brother its basic model or previously yehi plugs lgy thy or fuel filter bhi service kraya tha or pump ka pressure thek hai 100 se thora km ... Pick ka issue kuch 2-3 mnth pele shuru hua or Average ka 1 mnth pele

Have u noticed that when u press paddle RPMs increses but speed increse slowly??

I think 195 is quite bigger tire size for city, you should go for 185.
For fuel average, if clutch plates are OK then only remaining thing will be bad/clogged catalytic converter, considering it an 8 years old car, so just get it cleaned from a reputable workshop.
