Sorry for digging a decade old thread. But I'm asking for Honda City which is a decade old car too.

My question is:
is it possible to tweak the ECU of Honda City (5th Gen) to get some better fuel economy, some hidden things etc and use/reprogram them via OBD device?
(my Question may be kiddish.. Plz pardon me.. Just thought about it, and so asking.)

no. you need to remap it. not an easy work. also require special tool.

I'm using OBD speed lock device and with that we can lock, unlock the doors at certain speed, hazard lights blink on door opening etc. My curiosity is that we can find many other hidden features with these OBD devices? Is it possible or there are limited functions of the OBD devices?

There are such devices like kess. Which let you extract the stock map and tune it.
But it will not be real time tuning.
You have to extract it, tune it, upload it and then drive to see how engine reacts then retune.
Pretty slow and difficult process.
If we talk about normal obd2 scanners.
Ecu broadcasts all sensors activity on can bus. These obd2 scanners read those can bus signals and shows readable results.
