Honda City 2010 Manual Gear Oil Capacity

Hi everyone,

I wants to know the gear oil capacity of manual transmission of Honda City 2010 model. Recently clutch bearing replaced and mechanic poured 2L oil. Later I found on the internet that it requires only 1.5L oil. Should I get drained extra oil or is it fine?

It's 1.7L

Car should be on level, open drain nut let the excess drain. It only holds around 1.7L so excess will drain itself

i think you mean open the fill plug, the drain plug will empty out all the oil. The fill plug is what sets the oil level.

@Xulfiqar bhai, please confirm if there are multiple fill plugs? As it took two liter of oil and nothing spills out.

There is only 1 fill plug, and the car needs to be straight level when filling the oil. If its tilted sideways, or back to front the oil level would be incorrect.
