^^Yes....Exactly.
There's no difference between the early AT versions (starting from 2009) and the new prosmatic. It was as it is since day 1 of launch in PK. Honda just figure a new marketing gimmick to sell it under the badge ASPIRE.
I would like to point out that when honda first launched the prosmatic in civic, it was in the era of planetary gears with other manufacturers. The prosmatic is just like a manual tranny with only difference that the synchros are now multiplate clutches and that too are engaged in 02 steps.
This smooths out the transmission jerk. Honda further took the jerk reduction with DBW system. Now the throttle actually closes and opens back up during shift. I actually have an OBD-2 log graph of my vehicle for reference.
Coming to actual question, YES the city AT is at times sluggish (almost like a CNGed vehicle). This always happens if you happen to pour bad fuel or you load it up with 4-5 people with AC on and try to cross a trailer on GT road. But that lag is only upto 2500 rpm. Once all 16 valves open, the car becomes normal again. All this to improve economy.
I would suggest you to drive a City AT first and then make the switch.
