Honda City 2011 Front Shocks

Just came from Honda Breeze dealership. Shocks and all suspension parts are fine. However, rubber bushes are bit hard due to cold winter but that doesn't need any immediate replacement.

Now the problem for stiff ride is Hard Tyres. Tyres are now almost 3.5 years old and become hard. Other than that nothing is wrong. Reason for hissing sound in morning is coldness, that's why car become silent when hot or parked in sunlight.

BTW: I'm currently using Yokohama DB Advan 195/65/R15 with 28psi Air Pressure

Good to hear nothing's wrong with your car. But i really don't buy this morning coldness thing why just this particular model? My car's hissing sound is almost permanent now even if it is parked in an open plot during the day.

Isn't 195/65 too much for this car? Doesn't it touch the fender from the front/rear or when loaded with people or at full turn of the steering? At 28psi the tyre hardness shouldn't be an issue at 28 it's under inflated i think. What's the fuel average you're getting?

yeah 195/65 is actually corolla's size. My cars has spacers installer to increase ride hide so that's why there is no issue for tyre scrapping with fenders. I never calculated exact mileage but its bit feel its bit low compared to other stock City but that's ok because I have much wider tyres.

My another friend has 2005 model city and his car also produce hissing sound in morning only.

all you need is to change this rubber from front suspension lever and then its all well. cheers

Rubber cost you around 600 Rs including kharad charges.

wow this is interesting. My City 2011 only 93k driven makes exactly same sound from front when cold in the morning. The sound magically disappears after running a few kms. Did u find any solution?
