Honda City 2011 gear stuck

Asalam u alikum, i have Honda city 2011 88000 km done and i have recently changed the gear oil genuine honda mtf problem i am facing while engaging the 1st and reverse gear is getting stuck not every time but mostly so i went to honda Nazimabad 2s dealership they are saying that it could be issue of gear not clutch plate so they are charging to much 55000 approximately for gear change can anyone suggest me should i go with dealerships or go to local market mechanic if anyone recommend good mechanic in karachi

NEVER go to the dealerships for such repairs/replacements, it is best to go to any reliable workshop with expert mechanics and save yourself a lot of money. The dealerships can be your only option if your car is in warranty or something, but as your City is of model 2011, so I suggest you go to some local and reliable workshop.

The rest is your choice.
