Need to know your views on a problem i m facing. My honda city 2011 MT does ac tripping / compressor tripping after regular intervals or u can say after some specific times continuously. When i start ac it cools and cools well but as soon as it starts cooling it gets trip as it has reached to the temperature it is tuned to get tripped.than it starts and does same. But interval is so short that it starts feeling that AC isnt working well as when it should not get tripp it is tripping.Dont know y its is syncing with the time period to trip rather than with the cooling point.
I went last week to yadgar AC Lawrence road he said gas pressure is normal but it needs total servicing in which gas will be waisted and i will re fill it with some honeywell gas.and i gurantee that it will work and ac will not trip like it is doing now.was asking for 3500Rs.I thought of to take a second opinion this weekend i went honda airport where those bacha log mechanics were there.one said is mai gas hai he nahin siray se.i asked him to sit inside and feel.he said cooling to hai waqai to maine kaha yeh gas k begair kaise ho rahi hai to uska jawab nahin dia usne.Maine tripping experience karwai to honda walay peple said its normal and all the cities are same.i came out and thought i dont know whats right and whats wrong.and honda were asking for 4k for gas replacement if we go for it from honda.
Need to know expert opinions for my problem.and if any body good here in Lahore which can figure out whats the exact problem with my car AC.
Its Normal.... This Is the Thermostate OF A/C,, Find This & Adjust it On your Own Style .. No Rocket Science Required!!
any idea what the location of this thermostat?how deep it is? i mean can one can find it by himself?
Under the Box Of Dashboard !! Passenger side
i succeeded to open the dashboard but unable to find the location of this thermostat part.tried to google for position of this thermostat in city but unable to.
Any body can help in finding thermostat of honda city ivtec?
I suggest not to play with it your self and get it checked by an authorized dealer. Good luck.
I suggest U.. Visit any A/C mechanic Shop..Ask him the position of Thermostate of A/C,, .. It is not a big task... We have one Toyota with same Issue I just changed the thermostate value mid to Max.. Problem resolved.. Its like a simple Fan Dimmer Switch
