Honda City 2013 Minor Accident

Salam Dear All,

I have a honda city 2013, white color, ICT registered. using it since Oct 2017. its on open transfer and one short token.when i was selling it a denter told me that there is touch and spray on left front door and right back fender and may be deggy is also sprayed. but the fender have touching and sprayed extended till the back half pillar. the car is in my personal use and there is no issue plus no major accident. i want to sale it.

W.S. Bro, post title and description / purpose do not match each other. As per title, it seems as if there is a recent car accident, and help is required. However, as per description, you are interested in selling your car. Many potential buyers of Honda City will not visit this post (being related to accident).

I would suggest to make proper title and description (so that they match each other), if you are interested in selling your car. If you are not good at it, go through different ads on Pakwheels to have some idea how to post a proper, descriptive and eye-catching ad (do not worry, I am also not good at posting ads ) and also buy / sell section of Pakwheels forums. If you want to know exact and further condition of the car, get it carsured / inspected by Pakwheels car inspection service.

thanks for your valuable suggestion. its really mean to me. you are right, i have already removed my add from Pakwheels/FB as u know a number of people called and visit, and thats the reason i came to know that the car has this flaw otherwise the seals are intact, but the purpose to came on forum was that, comments from some mature and experience people like you.
i am not posting it as people are asking a lot of things without inspecting the car in real. thats why i mentioned the true picture, but lets see.
what u think how should i deal with, and how the price value will suffer. as the car cost me 14 Lac

Why do you want to sell it? Because you just came to know that the back door and fender were sprayed? Is this the reason for selling?

@nifiii No brother, i was selling it to change my car, nothing else...later i came to now when a buyer bring his denter. and i have no problem to sell it for this reason thats why i removed the add. and will sell to the party with this real information, nothing hidden.

Bro, some denters from the buying party unnecessary claim k falana part touched he, falana showered he. When I was selling my 11 year old 1st hand owned Santro with just 80k on the odo, a mechanic that came with a buyer told him that the meter has been reversed by atleast 70k kms. I immediately told both of them to leave my premises, because being the first owner and having driven the car only by me, their comments were ridiculous.

What I mean to say is don’t lessen your heart on somebody else’s sayings. IMO, car should go no less than 13.75. Can easily fetch 14 too.

yes people tend to do that k apki gari idher se bhi ha udher se bhi ha to break the seller agar asal mein ap se nai lagi tu just say k used li thi gari baqi khudi check kar lein simple as that city 1.3 ha quick sell market car ha no need to worry

Like the person above me said. Most denters usually use this tactic to lower the price. Even if the car has had 0 touch ups a denter will claim it’s been painted. Don’t be dishearted. You’ll get a good price once a genuine buyer approaches you.

When a friend of mine was selling his baleno he had it showered a year before. To the point that even denters claimed its genuine. But he did tell the buyers that it’s been showered and a couple of small dents from cyclists have been straightened up.

Bro, zaruri nai hai. May b jiss denter / painter ney aapko ye faults btayeye hain, wo khudd b zyada expert na ho? Sometimes, potential buyers jinn mechanics, denters / painters ko ley k aata hain, unki aur buyers ki setting b hoti hai, and wo jaan bujh k wo wo nuks b nikalnay ki koshish kartay hain, jo shayed exist b na kartay hoon!

I would suggest to take second opinion, and may be, from pakwheels car inspection service. Mainay 2 baar ye service use ki hai, and I am highly satisfied. They have specialized tools / guages for monitoring dents / paints. Aapko apni car ki true picture b samnay aa jye gee, buyers ka trust b build ho ga, and may be, you are able to get excellent price for your car.

And Yes, you are right. Serious log kamm hotay hain, but chaskay aur mazay lainay walay zyada. Na laina / Na daina, buss guppshupp lgayeye aur baat khatam. Disheart matt hoye ga, and Don't worry! If you are willing to sell your car, it will definitely get sold. Just take some time and let potential serious buyers approach you.

I was selling my car Honda city 2001 on pakwheels. In discription of my add I had mentioned that I got the car sprayed except roof for a fresh look. A guy turns up with a denter. Examines the whole car and then say Bhai aap ki car tou left side say painted hay. Anyway I am like totally confused. So I ask the denter to check again. He still says the same.... I asked if he had read my add!!! Told him all of it is painted. It was hilarious seeing the look on that denters face!!! Mostly they are just telling you flaws without even being sure of it themselves

These are purely tactics to pressurize sellers. If you are not sure then do one thing, spare some time tomorrow (Sunday), take your car out and visit random car denter/painter workshops.

Just ask them that you are purchasing this car so can you please tell me its original paint's condition. Most of them will inspect (visually) free of cost. Or you may offer couple of hundred rupees to them.

Re-Confirm this from atleast 4-5 different denter/painter workshops. Then you will have accurate picture of your car. This won't take more than 2 hours of your time, they will simple move around your car with their "Kaatil Aankhein" and tell your exact situation.

Then no more tricky buyers can disturb you.

yes i am satisfied with all your precious comments and same i was thinking, even yesterday i checked all the pillars and deggy after removing carpets and strips/pata, even i didint find a single touch from inside. so know i have no hazzle to sale my car in urgency. after all i am completely satisfy with its drive..
but was really disappointed with these so called denter and people really...for the sake of 5000 and 10000 they play shits.
