Honda City 2014 Pakistan launch

Honda city 2009 model is still far better then the latest 2014 corolla xli and gli in terms of specs and fuel economy! I would love to buy a facelifted Honda if they keep the prices lower then xli and gli! I love Honda!

does Honda Pakistan thinks that this small car could compete with Xli/Gli which are bigger(exterior + interior space) and more aggressive,having better AC AND suspension and comfortabe ride,resale,cheap spares and good ride insulation and seating position.....In 1.3 xli/gli will again lead this time kicking city badly.....

now plz dont tell me 1.3 corolla is underpowered.....as i hav driven a 1.3city AT and found it as the most slowest 1.3 car.....Manual corollas are running good though they have slightly less acceleration than City...But these are sedans not Ferrari.....

I have seen this car on dubai roads many time and i find it better than corolla specially from the back. Corolla styling is overly done and lacks decency. No offence just my personal opinion.

Corolla's looks are just too heavy!
Not decent like It used to be and not on the sporty side either, a mixture of both you can say! (If you know what I mean)

Have you driven the new city? How can you say that new rolla is more comfy than new city, how can you say rollas ac is better than new city?

By your comments it seems that you're just another die hard Corolla fan who just wants attention by saying bad about City/Civic. Everybody knows which car has better acceleration so no need for your comment about it. LOL city is a small car XD It's my personal preference current City is more comfy and spacious compared to the 10th gen, what you have to say about it?
Everybody has their personal preference and the thing you hate doesn't mean that others hate it too, others might love it and consider Corolla a piece of ****.

We bought new corolla for daily routine family use
I was using my 9th gen civic for going to office and outing with friends etc
But have only used my 9th gen civic thrice in the whole month really love the drive the look and the feel of my new corolla
I am not saying it's better than civic or civic is bad
I am just saying it's almost as good as civic lacks a few things and the great finish of civic but is equally good
And when I look at the car I sometimes start thinking to change civic and get another corolla ( Grande 1.8 )
City is really beautiful but still not a comparison for corolla
Rest yes it's personal choice n preference

But we have to admit one thing that Corolla is a head turner this time. I wont discuss the technical details because I havent driven a corolla yet but it is the best shape launched by toyota till date.

It's a facelifted Honda city 1.3 Manual and would get it in the 3rd week of October! Can't disclose dealer brothers! Gave my word!
