I own city 2015 auto 1.5
Having issues with the engine oil
I was using 5w30 then i was facing oil issues oil reduced like 15 percent
Then i shifted to 10w30
But still the same issue
I shifted to 10w30 coz it was bit thicker
But unfortunately same issue

I need ur help so sort this issue

Sir ap oil use hony ki waja search karein or go to mechanic is there any leakage some sort off on engine thicker ya thiner sy i dont think so is cause par farq parhta ha

Which oil you were using? My 07 city is not decreasing 5w30 hmm yours is relatively new. Btw 5w30 and 10w30 will be identical in thickness at engine operating temp.
15% decrease is also not bad you can continue 5w30 go for total quartz 9000. If its bothering you and you wanna try a bit thicker than 10w40.

Brother, either the shop from where you are buying engine oil is not selling 100% genuine and original oil, or there is some problem with your car's engine (may be it is weak, which is highly unlikely), or oil is leaking from somewhere.

Although it is highly unlikely for 1.5L Honda City Aspire Prosmatic 2015 model, but still, do you see any blue smoke from exhaust? Or loss in engine compression? Loss in its pick, power, etc.? Or any engine oil spots on the floor, where you park your car?

I would suggest to get your vehicle thoroughly inspected from some good garage, preferably some reputed Honda 3S dealership.

5w-30, API SN / SN Plus / RC, ILSAC GF-5, Fully Synthetic engine oil from some reputed brand, is best suited for your car. One condition: Oil is 100% genuine and original.

Do not go above 5w-30, and if you want best for bucks; go for Total Quartz 9000 Future Series 5w-30.

15% is just fine. If you put in exact quanity or engine oil as per manual and recommendation by the car run 2000 on that oil it SLIGHTLY reduces oil. And by 4000 your supposed to change engine oil. There is nothing wrong with your car, you have been told all wrong about it and you are ruining your car by changing oils and moving to thicker ones.

Just use honda 5w30 green packing oil and live happily. Share the pic of dipstick when you get new oil and after driving for 2000 or 2500 km share pic of dipstick again here. Im sure its nothing wrong with your car.

Read anywhere all cars very slightly reduce oil by 10-15% .

Use the car happily and PLEASE only use 5w30 (Green Packing) honda oil. Its Chevron Caltex Oil hondas patent blend. Its cheap and does the job just fine. Do not get Oil thicker thn 5W30.

I would sincerely advise to switch this brand. I am highly skeptical about it.

Please switch to Total, or any other reputed brand, which meets the criteria I have mentioned in my above post.

Yes. You can go for it. It's also an excellent brand. But ensure that it meets the above criteria regarding oil grade, API rating, etc. for your ride.

Bro yeh desi totky na karein and plz go for some qabil mechanic bcz there is some burning of the oil or leakage minute which u cannot recognise.

And one more thing thicker is used in mostly two conditions in old engines so that wear and tear could be minimised and second in extreme summers as cars gets hotter quickly.
