Honda city 2016 Steering Issue

Assalamu alaikum,

I recently replaced the steering bush on my Honda City 2016. Since then, the steering has become very stiff. In the morning when I start the car, the steering is fine, but when I drive over speed breakers or jumpers, the steering starts to become stiff slowly. When I drive the steering becomes even stiffer.
Due to this, the steering also doesn't return to its original position when I take a U-turn. I have also gotten the alignment checked, and the alignment guy said it's 100% okay, due to the steering is stiff so that doesn't return to its original position. This problem has been going on for almost a month.

What I've read is, steering bushes on these cars are not serviceable items, and require the complete steering assembly (including rack) to be changed. Mechanics find a short cut of hammering out the bushes and installing locally made ones by pressing them on a lathe. This jugar practice is what causes the behaviour that you're experiencing.
