Honda City 2016 throttle problem

I have a 2016 AT city and i am having a strange problem . it happened like once a week on average and rest of the time the car seems fine.
When I am driving the car, specially in stop and go traffic sometime the throttle stops responding. i can floor the throttle paddle and no response. this happens in neutral, D, D3, 1, 2, and R. if i put the car in gear i can feel the gear engaging and it starts to creep slowly but nothing happens when pressing the throttle and than after 10-15 seconds the throttle response comes back to normal.

what i have noticed is this happening the engine RPM drops to around 500 to 600 RPM when stopping and than if i get off the break, the car will not accept any throttle input. normally the car idles at around 900. and if it is at this RPM it will works normally.

Rpm doesn't rise at all? Or transmission stops responding to throttle?
Firstly get it scanned.

Rpm doesn't rise at all. i did get it scanned and it didn't show any issues.
when the car is stopped and rpm is around 600 i press the throttle and there is no response. i put the car in D, i can feel the gear engaging and the car starts to creep. but pressing the throttle does nothing. and then suddenly the throttle starts responding normally

this has only happened 3-4 times since January.

I have a doubt on the accelerator pedal. It's electronic throttle body. Ecu controls it by reading the accelerator pedal position.

Get throttle body clean and also use high octane for some good kms

Clean the throttle first, and then perform ECM/PCM Idle Relearn procedure as mentioned below:

Procedure

1- Make sure all electrical items (A/C, audio, lights, etc.) are off.

2- Reset the ECM/PCM by removing battery negative cable for more than 10 seconds.

3- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II), and wait 2 seconds.

4- Start the engine. Hold the engine speed at 3,000 rpm (min −1 ) without load (A/T in P or N, M/T in neutral) until the radiator fan comes on, or until the engine coolant temperature reaches 90 °C (194 °F).

5- Let the engine idle for 10 minutes with the throttle fully closed.

6- Turn off the car.

NOTE: If the radiator fan comes on, do not include its running time in the 5 minutes.

You are done.

I got the throttle caliberated and it has minimised the issue significantly although it still doesn't feel 100%. I think as time goes on the issue will start creeping up again. But for the time being it is working fine and doing the job.

i guess it happens in every city. . .in second gear when u slow down too much. .. it takes time to get pick up
