Have you tried the second key? Does both keys do the same? If the first one is worn out in some areas the problem is with the key not the ignition, don't try to force the bad key and break the ignition. Go to a keymaker (google for good reviews) preferably one who specializes in Honda Keys, they usually charge 500-800 only
