Honda city 2017 auto door lock driving do not work

i am using honda city 2017 its door does no lock as i start driving

Probably because it has an OEM central locking/keyless system, that is how they work. Aftermarket (read crap) systems work where it locks the doors when an actuator is triggered, i.e. you press the brake or start driving, etc. OEM systems do not work like that.

OEM system locks the doors if it crosses 20kph speed or if you engages D gear in automatic. It unlocks when you shift to P.

I have a 2020 GLi auto, it doesn't do that! Wonder if mine isn't working as it's supposed to now..

Auto locking is only in grande I think, for lower variants u can add a module that connects to OBD port.

I think toyota tech stream can also enable that feature if ECU isn't hard locked.

Yeah it's too much hassle to add on top, I have a habit of locking the car myself via the master switch since ages. These are bare bones cars anyways, I also don't think the older gen Honda City has it (2017 as the poster has asked about).
