Just came across the following link where it is being quoted that the launch of Honda City will be in 2017. How true is this as it is being shown by an agency.

Do not think before Middle 2018 (Even then , its not confirmed,

Its better to buy City current Model in current Price , because when ever they will launch next generation, Price will not be less than 17 Lakh for Basic 1.3 MT model. Resale value of current Model will not be much affected by new Model.

If I may ask, through which source have you learned that the production has indeed stopped? I mean people are still booking the car and even I was thinking of booking an Aspire 1.5L for myself.

gossip not some official source which i can vouch for or stand behind. but in past gossip in that circle seemed to come true.

Honda will launch BR-V in March-April 2017 (100% confirmed - have confirmation from various sources and eyewitnesses to BR-V local part production).

as per my source, honda has totally skipped this generation. Will not even launch facelift version. Wait till 2020.

All rumours currently indicate that the new City will not be coming this year. This is backed by the rumour that Honda has already reduced production of City to ensure their Civic delivery deliveries, both of which are very delayed and slow.
