Honda City 2018 1.5 Aspire Prosmatic Fuel Guage Issue

Hi, I have a fuel gauge issue in my car some time fuel gauge does not go up when I refill the fuel around 1000 or 2000 but sometimes the fuel gauge goes up recently I refilled fuel for 2000 rupees after the reserve light on the fuel needle show exactly quarter tank. The next time my car ran almost 40 km after the reserve light when I put in 3000 rupees fuel my needle showed 1.5 bar below of quarter tank. after some driving, I again put 2000 rupees of fuel then the needle did not move up. this problem is faced many times. 1 month ago I faced this issue I put in 5000 rupees of fuel and then the needlework. somebody can guide me on how can i solve this issue.

I believe it's normal behavior of city's fuel guage, maybe something to do with fuel tank position (below front seats and gear lever) it does need at least half tank top up for fuel guage to move if you go below last quarter my 2021 city 1.3 manual does the same. Small 1000-2000 topups don't make a difference and 3000 it may not show up immediately but after driving for sometime.

So when topping up 10 liters or less, multiply the liters by 10 to get the least amount of km the vehicle will run on topped up fuel.

Though mine does 12-14 in city and more on long route
