Honda City 2018 DIY backup camera installation

Guys I might install a backup camera in my Honda myself. Anyone knows if Honda City 18 comes with wiring for camera or I'll have to modify current wiring. I'm asking because I have seen some wires with connector dangling in trunk lid

Yes Honda city comes with wiring for camera.
You just have to buy the specific camera for honda city remove the licence plate light attach the camera there and connect the wires
Then open the lcd and connect it from there too

Yes, all variants of honda city come with preinstalled wiring for the camera and Fog lights now.

City 2011 had no wiring for Fogs but I’m not sure about camera. Don’t really know

yes it should have. Wiring came in 2012 onwards when navigation was offered.

Yes. Mechanics usually now how to this. Buy DLAA fog lamps and it will come with all the wiring stuff.
My suggestion is to buy honda fog lamps.
I got DLAA installed. Then both bulbs fused within 6 months. Then got the bulbs installed from honda and it costed me more than geniun honda fog lamps. Go for them eyes close.

City has wiring for Back cam. But doesn't for front cam. A good mechanic will get the job done easily.

I installed fogs in my new city 6 months back. And the mechanic found out that all the wiring was already there.
