So, have been all busy with life for the last couple of years and not really paid attention to whats happening around in the automobile sphere in our part of the world. Just recently a friend of mine asked suggestion about Honda City which I have owned since 2017 since he was interested in buying new.
Long story short he decided to pull the trigger and book the new Honda City and I accompanied him to the showroom to see whats new and quite frankly I liked the shape and the all new features they had introduced which are a first in the local assembled sedan category. The shocker came when I heard the price a total of Rs:3.4 MILLION.
Anyways he wasnt much bother with anything and decided to go ahead. This was last Thursday and just today in my recommendation I saw the ad for Honda City 2022 launched in India and after checking the car, and its FEATURESSSSS and the aesthetics of the cars compared to what I saw in the showroom I dont know whether I should laugh at our helplessness or cry at our misfortune of not getting what we pay for.
So the reason for which I made this thread is and I am genuinely curious about why such a big gap of product and quality exist in Pakistan ( in view of price paid ) and MORE IMPORTANTLY how are people justifying paying this much for these locally assembled car. ?
Thats it......
