Honda city ac problem

Hi,
i have honda city 2006 Manaual ,petrol. when i start the AC Its cooling great but after 5 minutes The AC stops cooling and only FAN is ON and compressor is not going ON (main nay bohat deer tak wait kiya per cooling start nahi hui)... then i turn OFF AC after 5 to 10 minutes i start AC its Cooling Great...
anybody please help me whats the problem..and please advice me the best AC Mechanic in karachi.. i live in jamshed road
please Reply bcoz i have no idea (main nay kabhi car AC ka kaam nahi karway is liyeh mujhay idea nahi hay)

If engine heats up the ac automatically shuts off thats preventive measure in honda city. Have ur engine cooling system checked.

In karachi there is an AC wala called friends he is on area beside tariq road where there are dozens of AC walas they are good. BTW there could be a problem that your car is heating, your compressor is heating up or your clutch does not work when hot.

Get your radiator serviced, cleaned

check you temperature needle. if car is getting heated then the ac compressor will automatically shut off

the problem is with your cooling system not your ac

get it checked for leakages/service the radiator/check coolant for rust etc etc etc
