Honda City Actual Speed vs Display Speed

I just bought 0 meter City Aspire 1.5 Prosmatic model 2021

There is issue with speedometer that it display over speed that mean when car speed is 58 KM/h the speedometer’s needle show 60 KM/h and from 70 KM/h onwards the overspeed % increase as well that mean when car speed is now 70 KM/h it show 75 KM/h and so on 100 KM/h it show 105 KM/h.

Tyres are same factory fitted and I am testing speed with GPS speedometer. As for as GPS speedometer is concern there is lag about 5 to 10 sec with car speed but once car speed is maintained GPS speedometer will show actual speed.
Any idea whats wrong with it or all city model are having same issue??

This is not a City specific issue. This is something all manufacturers do as a safety precaution. The speed displayed on the meter is always a little bit more than the actual GPS speed of the car. The inaccuracy can be up to 10%, but always on the higher side, never lower. So you don't sue the manufacturer for a speeding ticket. All of this is considering you have the stock tire size.
