About the posts of Mobeen and Autophile, they were perfectly fine.
If you see on the previous pages, Mobeen commented before me, so his post has nothing to do with mine. Secondly he used the sentence "I don't think so" means he is not pushing his assumption into authority. As far as Autofile reply is concerned, he is telling us what normally the practice is. He is not quoting my post and saying its incorrect. Writing style matters a lot and thats what irritated me but all is settled now.
I am sorry for all of your 5,6 relatives who don't have this feature in their Citys. I hope the car you get is equipped with these pipes because its really a nice feature.
And I request all the City iVTEC owners to check their rides and report here that their cars have these pipes underneath front seats or only I am the lucky one.

no. They dont have it. It is only available in thai model, whose picture they have put on their website. I have personally asked this from dealership before booking my car

@waleed80. Bro These vents are present in My city also. I own a 2010 model city. Speedster is right. A very good feature indeed.

@waleed80. Bro u can't see them ordinarily. You have to notice very carefully to view them.
Though you can feel the cool air by setting the air flow control(Dont know its exact name)
to the direction of front n feet. Only in front direction. It doesn't work.

Today I had seen a Aspire on road. Seriously rims were looking much better than being shown in pics. Aspire sticker was perfectly aligned..

That guy (waleed80) is repeatedly quoting my posts and asking that "No, you are wrong" although he doesn't have any clue what is he talking about because his knowledge is based on hear-say and assumptions, he doesn't even own the car. While me on the other hand has this car for almost a year now.
So ask him to behave on forums and not to comment if he doesn't have required knowledge. Pakwheels is community where technical things are discussed in detail, so the ones not having knowledge should refrain from quoting others' posts as false.

they were not present in my car till n until one day i tried to install it my self somehow as DIY what i found they were there but hidden under the carpet so i had cut the carpet with blade and took the dead body out of it...work only when u turn the direction to feet only.

just wanted to add another thing for the benefit of City users. the engine shield (cover under the engine) is not being offered in MT city but the same is being given with the AT (now prosmatec) City....i dont see any logic for this discrepancy. i strongly suggest all those ppl who have booked their cars (and i m gonna do the same InshAllah) to force Honda guys at the time of delivery to install the shield in the MT cars free of cost. they are otherwise charging Rs 1,500 for the said shield. Moreover, there is no air filter for the AC in any of the city (already highlighted in another thread). dont u think we shall also demand the air filter at the time of delivery as the filter rack is given in the car but is empty

These underseat vents were present even in my 2004 city.. although i havent noticed them in my 2008 city .. still i think they must be there . .

For the new model .. i wud think it to be a default thing still i can only be sure only once i receive the car from honda booked on 13th dec

Yes... these venst are there under the front seats even in 2004 Idsi city. Mine has it. My 2012 city also has them. No doubt.

my sis has 2010 city AT and there is no shield in the middle as i had full intentions to steal and put it in my car. as far as filters are concerned they were installed 500 rs each from day one from a local ac wala.
