Honda city brake master cylinder leakage

Hi friends
I created a thread in which I sought advice about brakes of my car (city, 2013, MT). Today, while taking my car for wash, I discovered that its brake master cylinder is leaking.
I'm from suburbs of Rawalpindi, so can anyone guide me a trust worthy shop from where I can buy and replace this cylinder?
My mechanic suggested me to go to Mithoo Khan yard and get a kabli cylinder replaced with this one. Is it a good decision to get a used kabli cylinder or to look for brand new cylinder?
For used cylinder, what should I look for? How can I be sure if it is genuine or repaired one? What would be the price of new and old one.

For a used one you have to make sure that the bore of the brake cylinder isnt pitted. Maybe your current one is reusable and just the seal is gone.

You could get a genuine rebuild kit to replace the pistons and all rubber seals/parts. That I think is around 5-6k.

New complete brake cylinder is about 17k.

Well, I have no knowledge of these things. My mechanic said I should not opt for kit repair. But I'm concerned about used one only. From where can I get new set in Rawalpindi?

Who would replace the kit and seals etc? Mechanic or the shop/?

mechanic would. I dont know about rwp. You can get new whole or rebuild kit from honda 3s. Part number is 46100-TM0-T01. Ask Partscentral on fb for a price too, they may be cheaper.

01462-TF0-000 part number for rebuild kit.

This is an update to the thread, your help is needed please
I found oil leakage near brake master cylinder and was looking for its replacement. Thanks to rainy weather in Islamabad/Rawalpindi these days, I couldn't get it replaced. I called almost all dealers of Honda parts but none of them had the new cylinder available.
Today, I examined it again, there is no further leakage. The old leakage has dried and corroded the surface a little bit. The area has colledted some dust.
I had toped up the bottle of brake master cylinder a few days a go, up to max level indication (after which I noticed oil leakage).
Now I'm suspecting if cylinder was actually leaking or I had added extra fluid and it was leaking from bottle. How can I confirm if the cylinder was leaking or it was bottle which had been over filled. Any help will be highly regarded.

I'm not going to get a kabli cylinder. I'm looking for new one. But my question is how to know if cylinder was leaking or bottle because after cleaning the area, I don't see any fluid now.

@darazonline! you sure that you have inspected the cap of the brake oil reservoir carefully? There is a rubber seal inside the cap and sometimes it comes off aur phir yeahi hota hai.

I am attaching pics of reservoir bottle cap and rubber seal in side. As can be seen in pic, the rubber seal was tilted and had fluid spread in the depression. The cap is also loose and has some play in it.

leaking from bottle

if it was leaking from the bottle then you would have a mess everywhere. The leak came from inside the brake cylinder by passing the rear seal. thus you only have a mess on the brake booster.

I called almost all dealers of Honda parts but none of them had the new cylinder available.

You have to get them to order it in from honda atlas. No one stocks it as its not usually replaced. I got it in a week after ordering.

@darazonline! Ok now pick that rubber seal from the reservoir... and place it on groves of the cap. I am sure you will get the feeling when it is firmly fixed on the cap... phir cap ko firmly tight karain on the reservoir... get a dry cloth clean & dry the master cylinder... aur aab enjoy karain apni car ko... trust me

If the brake feels normal, clean the area and observe for a bit.

cylinder is not showing any leakage but the rubber seal still accumulates fluid. I guess the seal is not sitting properly and seal needs replacement.
