Nice thread! I am also a 2003 Honda City i-DSi owner. The car has 33K on the clock till now and works like charm. No problems whatsoever, MashAllah. I have a couple of queries regarding the maintenance.
-I experience a little but of engine knocking though i use 1/3 hi-octane with a full tank of petrol. I have consulted many mechanics about the issue but none of them have any satisfactory solution to the problem. I think it has to do something with the adjustment of the tappets. I went to Honda Point for a scheduled check up and they said that the tappets do not require any sort of adjustment, they just asked me to use octane. I'd appreciate it if someone here can post up a viable solution.
-Since the car is 33K driven now, it requires front disc pad replacement. Any suggestions on which brand to opt for?
-I have had a thorough service of the rear brakes when the car had 20K on the clock, so when does the rear pads require replacement?
I currently doing a DIY on sound dampening the trunk by using the inner carpet of the of the tail gate from the 4th gen city, as the 3rd gen never came with the tail gate carpet and there are no sockets to hold the clamps of the carpet. Any1 here tried this before?
Also, i m looking for OEM fog lights. Any suggestions on where to get them?
