Ahmed bhai. salam after a long time. I have been transfered from Rahimyar Khan to Islamabad. Now comes the question for installing CNG in my 2010 city. As I have to travel from Nowshera to ISB daily (280 km per day).

I know people have installed CNG in their Citys. But I have heard it from many people that there is not much difference in driving new city on petrol and cng. Do you know how much exactly the difference will be? Will it improve economy of drive to the extent that overcome the cost of CNG kit installation in a year?

Secondly, there is problem of Gas Load Management (specially CNG). Is it gouing to worsen further in coming winter?

Sorry for late reply shahid bro...CNG would certainly save a lot of cash if u get it and it wont even harm ur car if done the right way. fuel economy will certainly increase.i ve heard theres not much difference in the performance on cng n petrol but a lot of difference in running cost.

there is only one problem, we all know what was the situation of cng in summer (3 days off) dont know what the situation will be in winter when demand for gas will be at maximum everywhere. some people are saying CNG will be closed for like 2 months or so, in that case, certainly u cant cover the cost of cng kit in one year.
but if we get constant supply of cng (dream come true, that will be) then yes, 280kms a day will surely cover the cost of cng kit in a year or so.though we ve got to do the maths... but still its feasible...

Is it necessary to change the Transmission oil in Automatic City every 1 year (or less) even whether the car is rarely driven, mostly parked ??? Does length of time be considered instead of mileage for Transmission oil ??

emmmm.... its quite possible... some say that oil can be deteriorate by the passage of time... so, just to be on the safe side, u can change the oil. otherwise the life of oil is 40,000kms but even if u drive ur car, only a few people do 40,000kms a day so we cant say if we should change it after a year or 40,000kms.... may be whichever comes first...

so sorry for late reply brother...u dont need transmission oil change at 30,000kms. u have to get that done after 10,000kms more.i.e. at 40,000kms for manual and 35,000kms for auto cars.

but yes you do need to change the spark plugs after every 20,000kms... so better get that done...

so sorry for late reply brother...u dont need transmission oil change at 30,000kms. u have to get that done after 10,000kms more.i.e. at 40,000kms for manual and 35,000kms for auto cars.

(I have also 2010 model and 36k+ on odo ) No need of any change until honda dealer/workshop say you, because they know complete maintance schedule. My suggestion is better you check and fallow service schedule provided with car. On last workshop visit i.e. 35k service the workshop engineer/supervisor told me that on 40k only brake oil will be change.
Spark plugs life is 100,000 km, no need to change.
My best suggestion is for new car owners don't go local mechanics because these cars totally based and work on ECU and when there is 70,000 km waranty so don't take risk.

will go for it when ever find good one
here found one it was 39k driven on petrol 2 peice touching but owner was asking 1050 final fr 06 model
if he even asked 950 for his petrol one i would surely offer him a exchange with mine i vtec but he asked:'(

i am going tomorrow to sony center to get a memory card will look for this machine, but i hate the bumper extenders or whatever you call em, rear looks like a cut from new corolla, feels like reflectors are missing from corolla rear bumper, front one also extended but dunno how it looks, i hate blacks tints and khuda ka banda itne khulli jaga mein bhi gari lines mein park nahi kar saka, ustad ji gari fail hai but mein aap k jazbat ki qadar karta hon

Thx for the compliment . InshAllah you will be able to find one I am sure :). My car was totally original with alloy rims and cng , 07 model with only 50 k on the odo for 10 75 but i got it for 10 60. It seems that the 39 K driven is very expensive for its condition.

buddy i have city 05 and last night when i wanted to start the car it refused and and after sometime engine light came on. there was no leakage or anything of that sort.
what is the problem? can you help plz

i might be wrong about the plugs change stuff but i dont really agree with ur "3S dealer only" policy.infact my own experience with 3s dealers has been toooo bad... u can find that in my earlier posts... the supervisors there advice people according to the user manual (which is not usually applicable because of the bad fuel/cng installed in the cars)
there is absolutely no need to change the brake oil fluid at 40,000kms while changing the transmission oil at that mileage is absolutely necessary.

as for mechanics, i ve found out that some of the open market mechanics are better then 3S dealers mechanics! my own car was maintained by honda 3s for 1 lakh kms, everytime i stepped into their facility, i walked out with a new issue until finally i stopped going there n visited a local mechanic who had good reputation.i can safely say, infact i can challange that hes the best person for all the new cars in my area.u can bring in any car, accord, camry prado LC or any other, he ll be able to fix it with any issues.

Dont just follow other n visit the 3S dealers JUST because they are 3S... kindly use ur observation, see if they really know the car better then ur road side mechanic, otherwise paying 7 times more then desi mechanic wont get u anywhere...!!! hope u get my point!

lets not talk about how the car looks like, the quality of the work done is not good at all.i saw this in f10 last week, the rear lights were dirty from the inside, bumpers were not well finished n overall look was not clean....

rear is fugle coz of dirty lights n finishing
but it seems that owner is fade up of all this
coz the left side was damaged n need paint job but
as car is lowered too much its only suitale for isb road

kindly explain ur cars' problem. is it on cng or petrol? mileage? any recent tuning? last tuning? any sounds from engine? did it eventually start or not?
