well, i tried to see how these door handle panels open and i found that u have to take off the whole door panel to get the out as there is a nut screwed in from the back side into the door handle switch panel. did u take off the complete door?

my plan is to take off the panels. rub them with sand paper (not to take the paint off but to make the surface smooth) then spray paint 2 or 3 coats and rub with a verrrryyy fine sand paper again. n it would be awesome if i can find some high gloss clear coat spray for it... would be perfect!

as for that central panel, u have to take off the complete horizontal panel. to do that, go all the way to the end of it, just beside the rear small ash try, u ll find 2 screws on each side, unscrew them and then just take off the panel with force. after its removed, u ll find a few more screws near the cup holder itself which u ll unscrew to detach it from its place... i recently got my cars' centre console open, hope im not forgetting anything

yes bros... for opening the door panels, u have to remove the whole door... I mean the plastic interior panel... the power door panels have screws from the inside... u have to open them before they come off.

I opened the whole panels as i had to grease the window rails as well...

bro, it has been about 45 days something since i did these... khair, the car has not been used much but still they are as good as new... no scratches no nothing...

as for ur panels, i would suggest to remove the old paint completely before u do any job on them... cz it has already weakened bonds with the plastic and the new paint comes off along wd it.. i tried wdout removing the paint but did not work... paint got removed very soon....

bro, i have tried opening all the screws behind the ashtray panel but the central console doesnot move a mm...

btw, how many million years have been passed since u washed that engine? lol .. j/k... but u shud give it a complete wash...
as for ur civics bumper, my car also hit a dog on khushab road and scratched its newly painted bumper not getting enough time to get it repainted...

Bros, I have not seen these cars about a month or more has passed.. I've been abroad... Dad is in Pk and he drives them sometimes...

The engine bay was cleaned a month back but there has been rain, keechar etc so, had to leave them as such when coming abroad cz i didnot have time...

InshAllah gonna give them very detailed washes very soon...

thats user manual not a brochure, i had something with me and i asked some amount for it, if you had some thing you should ask for it rather then me, i think you regret owning a user manual you can put your own name on and thats too at price of your choice, strange you.

i have second gen city and info required was just for the sake of my knowledge and not something that i need.

Bro i need to ask some thing my car is making some noise on big jumps/ speed breaker , it seems to me that car reqd servicing ...i had it but sound still was thr ...my mechanic said it ll be fine and changed shocks foundation , shocks rubber ..but i still have the sound like " chee chee " like when some thing got rust or i don't know ....anyhow what ll be possible issues in it and do u suggest me to change the shocks and what ll be thr cost...

i went out to get a silver spray, some sand paper and a clear coat spray... took off all 4 door panels and painted them!!! results are good! i didnt get the sand paper grade i wanted, thats why i couldnt give it the finish that i wanted but still , i'd say they are 80% awesome i ll post the pix in the morning... gonna fit the panels back into the door hand rests right now...

the credit of this DIY of mine goes to you... thanks a lot as for the central console... i ll open it tomorrow n will guide u on how to do it... i.e. if i do it right myself

It can be anything... shocks, cut bushes or may be some other suspension part! only ur mechanic can tell u what it is , that too, after riding the car n listening to the sounds...

well, OEM honda shocks are for around 13000rs... other good ones are for 9000rs (KYB) and the lowest quality is 6500rs... checked these rates recently from lahore...

It can be anything... shocks, cut bushes or may be some other suspension part! only ur mechanic can tell u what it is , that too, after riding the car n listening to the sounds...

With faulty shocks, a bit of control is lost.
last year one of my car shock died, actually the damper inside was dead(when mechanic opened it, i saw it) although spring was fine as this is hard coil of metal. And in my case the spring was holding all weight of car.

The problem was not noticable on plain road but on bumpy road and over 80km, i felt the car would just move a bit left for 1 sec. I then installed the kabli one.

I think u should push the left and right side of ur car and observe from where the sound is comming.

Well if that sound started until recently than it could be due to weather making rubbers to crack thus in turn making noises. P.S my car has also started making some cheen cheen noise on speed breakers since the winter started, but the suspension is fine, the car sails on bumpy roads. I think rather than spending blindly on getting new shocks wait till the summer begins or give it a try and get your suspension checked. I think idsi has air filled shock absorbers and air can be filled to get them back to work.

Bro thanx alot , ist of all my car is having this problem from last week or so ..went for allignment he said its ok , although checked by my mech he changed shock rubber , foundation and said rest all is ok and yes he also change one cut bush ..all the parts were genuine ...but i m feeling cheen cheen sound on speed breaker and not having any allignment issue , rest on a rough road ( Not the plain one) i also feel a sound in low speed (20 or 40) like gar gar i think i should get the suspension checked again and really really confused of shocks ...
Reqd help from u guys...
