if u r facing rpm drop on petrol, check for 2 things
firstly drive the car in 1st gear and check out the car pick, if it feels ok go to step 2 otherwise get ur clutch plate checked out

secondly, if step 1 is ok, mix hi-octane with ratio of about 5-7 litres in one full tank.

No RPM drop on petrol, only on CNG the rpm drops whenever i apply breaks and on traffic signals when the car is in "D" the rpm get drop and i feel sound like the car is changing gear. this all happens only on CNG.

which advancer u r using ???? Only this can be your last hope check out for advancer settings ... this issue is very common with Honda City on CNG in manual as well as automatic and let me tell u there is NO solution literally once it starts to happen...... another factor may be there......get ur clutch plate checked........it may cause same issues.....
if u still wanna use CNG beleive me there is not much difference between CNG and pertrol cost for i-DSI (well im not sure about Vario)

today got me a 2011 honda city manual only 8k driven
before this my daily runner was 1.8 civic prosmetic which is a gaz guzzler my monthy fuel expense on civic was 45k-50k, last whole month i keep on using my mum 2010 city as a daily runner, surprisingly its fuel expenses were only 15k :), so yesterday i sold my civic and now got me a 2011 city as well
installed some add ons on it like 16s rims/tyres, tinted the whole car/aripress/changed the front grill as well

I installed new brake disc plates (TAWAS) just like 50 days ago and i was feeling jerky when apply brakes above 70km, so yesterday i decided to polish/level the disc plates. As, if disc are kept unused for longer interval(as in shops) their levelling is seriously disturbed, so i got my disc tooled yesterday and check the awesome work done by the Kharaad guy, he was really expert at it.........Now, it feels like NEW and also performs like NEW as well........

u must ve noticed that the padel gets very soft for the first few hundred kilometers and the brake force is lesser. it will get better slowly when the surface of the rotor is rubbed in the same shape as the pads.

in my case, the rotors were (are :() bent somewhat... rotor phasing helps for a few thousand kilometers but then the vibration gets back will have to get new rotors and pads....

there IS a temprature guage...
when the car is cold, a light shows up in the speedometer. when the car warms up, the light goes off and theres another light for heat. if the car heats up more then normal level, the red light shows up in speedometer...

i ve one question as well. mine city right tail light has some dust particles inside the reverse and indicator area, how to clean it ? whats the solution for it ?

yeah i can see the dust in there... well, theres no way u can do it urself
better take it to a headlight/bumper repair guy.he ll take it apart and clean it from inside properly (by seperating the upper lens from the housing)

or u may want to invest in a brand new light. or may be one from bilal ganj shud do equally good.

one think i'd like to ask u... how are u feeling after shifting downwards from civic to a city? the saving is huge but how does it feels? theres a lot of difference... power, comfort, stability, features etc etc...

get it insured... security system, trakker etc etc all fail very easily... insurance is the only way out. ur car is more then 5yrs old so the rates will also be less... other then that, almost everything has a solution... chor locks, trackers, gsm security systems etc etc...

Installed DVD with LCD touch enable also stylus comes with it, reverse cam, LCD in headrest on both the seats since my kids want cartoons(i m not that old which u r thinking at the moment:P just turned 29 on 6th March) and since i had lot of long drives so it is the best way to keep them busy with cartoons stuff...DVD includes DVD,MP3,USB,SD-Card,Radio,BlueTooth(A2DPsupport) HD resolution is supported:), For reverse cam is night vision universal camera. Headrest LCD quality is also good. I am posting the pictures here for the reference....

@ahmad, well i have handson knowledge on the braking system, now lets throw some light on the fact that why we need disc polishing/levelling

1. First factor is the passage of the time, normally the genuine disc plates(depending on the driving style) wear out with the time
2. second and mostly common factor is that people keep using the worn disc pads until they completely worn out and this is the biggest cause responsible for discturbing the disc plate
3. thirdly, whenever u go for a car wash or service, if u had driven long time ur disc plates are very hot and suddenly they throw cold water on the plates causing sudden temperature changed causing them to wear out. Whenever u go for a service, wait for 20-25 minutes before throwing water directuly on the disc plates.
4. One another factor is hard braking, if u apply hard braking it will damage the discs very soon, so aovid it when possible

Normally , disc plate stay good for 40000km u have to get them tolled after that, mine genuine were tolled at 42k for the first time and then i replaced them around 85000km...

i think there will be no issue with the clutch as the car is perfect on petrol, i am using cip4 advancer/emulator. i am still confused as to how cng is affecting with the CVT.
