He ain't gonna let go of 1451 like I am not gonna give up my 9613. Its about a sort of attachment, my two cars, corolla and city have been there for me throughout my teenage, I learned driving with them, same is the case with 1451 and kaptaan sb. It isn't simply about the comfort in a car, its much more.

If only 1451 is the issue he can simply get it in the next auction LOL. BTW I got your point. But kaptaan saab ki gari buhut masla kar rahi hai and this time around he might be spending on it like anything. He has already got maximum juice out of this car, now its time for new car, ab sari life to is 1451 kay balbotay per nahi guzari ja sakti.

Now let me get the things straight. Your car is alright on petrol so rule out the coils and other things, the problem is only with things related to CNG. The problems can be
1 Oil in kit, get it cleaned
2 advancer emulator faulty or not calibrated. If its faulty change it or go for recaliberation. There is a thread on pakwheels for that
3 air filter clogged to nothing, change it
4 May be there is some leakage around the CNG venturi which is allowing extra air to enter
Do all these and hopefully the problem will resolve

What ever you do, DON'T follow that thread blindly! I did it and I regret it. Allah knows, what was the issue, may be my advancer was a different model, but infact this problem started from the day I followed that thread, though its a sigh for me that people who haven't followed it are having patakhay as well, so there must be a way out of this mess. The other two are a NO on my car as well and its going for kit clean up tomorrow, fingers crossed!

well, i really am attached to the car. this thread that i made, was made only because of having this particular car. yes, i ve taken out almost all the juice out of it but so what? arent people running 3 times totaled 82 corollas yet? mine is not even rusted much yet!
ur suggestion makes economic sense, yes. even my dad wanted me to get rid of it n get a new city but i dont want to sell it! n secondly, i personally believe that new city is not TOO MUCH improvement from the idsi, yet, i would have to put almost twice the money of my idsi's worth to get a city. so i didnt approve dad's plan (I run the show :P) Zindagi tou bilkul nai guzarni 1451 pay, lakin sath rakhi tou ja sakti hy na.

If I were in your place I would have gone to bilal gunj and bought myself a front half cut. I would have negotiated with the seller that I only want suspension parts and he can keep engine, AC, Dash body parts etc. All the suspension parts mean entire steering assembly, Front shock, both control arms i.e chimtay,. Only these genuine parts will solve your problem. Otherwise if you go for 3s it will cost you 1lac easily and if you go for bilal gunj parts from half cut than they are good and will cost you around 50k but all the sound will be gone.

the problem with half cuts is that those parts would be used too! may be not as much as mine are but still, they would have gone through atleast half of their life. the REAL problem with the suspension is chimtay (control arms) and the assembly (steering rack)

Got new battery. AGS. 3700rs. old one sold for 700rs. net paid 3000rs.

Im now facing the small but annoying issue. the driver side auto power window wont work! the AUTO feature, its fine if used manually. i know the reset procedure of holding the button up for a few secs but even that doesnt reprograms the auto system
anyone knows what to do?

So your car have that handle thing with which u can manually roll down/up window.?
I will always go for dry battery.

I have a question about idsi. Does both fans of radiator turns on and off when coolant temp rises to certain temp or just one fan.

Which battery size you purchased. And 700 rs for old battery is very good. For the power window problem check the underdash fuse box maybe there is some problem in fuses.

No actually in driver side door of idsi you can roll up the windows 2 ways. One is the manual way in which you have to press the button until the window is up. And the other mode is auto where you press the button once and window is rolled up or down completely. His auto system is not working

I think only 1 fan turns on and off with coolant temperature and both fans turn on and off with ac on and off, but I am not sure will have to check

@adam86 with current fuel price, this car is miracle.

@a_n_memon phir to meri idsi mein ye masla from day one say hay. Kair not a big issue.

and yes in my idsi only one fan turn on and off but the circuit diagram was showing that both fans should turn on, may be the manual
is for different region.

Which battery size you purchased. And 700 rs for old battery is very good. For the power window problem check the underdash fuse box maybe there is some problem in fuses.

I bought 50amp or 50 watever it is, battery. AGS. i ve always traded the old battery for 500-700rs.
n the auto window started to work right after i wrote that post. seems like my car has an ID on pw too n it was playing around with me

can some help me out ..how to open Honda city 2004 ac switch..i need to remove it caz the LED is burn..its not turn On but switch works fine..already opened the everything just the switch is not coming out of the clips
