Did anyone encounter the problem of bogging and sputtering engine at Cold start ups? i-Dsi? The car is fine once it reaches optimum temperature but its a REAL SH.ITTY pain to move the car if its cold... :@

Don't know what to do, engine seems maintained as such, local mechanics know nothing, even Honda 3S people made wild guesses so I brought it back home, don't want jugaars. Help...

what engine oil are u using these days? its properly winter season now. better switch to a lower grade oil. 10w30 or so... also, if u are in isb, get a liqui moly engine flush thingy. might help improve the rough idling...

Liquid moly is not good for engine,
It required some treatment liquid ( recommends by OEM) to make engine seals soft, if don't use the treatments oil leaks from all over the engine.

'make engine seals soft'? last i checked, seals were made out of metal. Liqui moly products can do wonders to the engine. Im not talking about engine oil. im talking about engine flush fluids. it removes carbon build ups/sludge from the engine and makes idling smoother. so yes it DOES help. and oil would not leak so easily from the engine.

Which engine oil are u using? My car is on liqui moly 0w50 and it has completed 7500km with same oil but oil filter change at 4500. Total mileage is 144000km. Vario idsi and in Quetta during morning temperature can go as low as - 5c. I always give 3 to 5 minutes of idling at morning else the drive is not smooth specially transmission.

agreed. i use to switch between mineral and fully synthetic time and again in my old 03 model platz and used liqui moly flush in between the switches, and the car did wonders for me. perfect. their flushes are way too good

finally have decided to go for these for my car. these are lenso sc-bushido....i hope they dont weigh more and ruin things for me
logically they shudnt cause they are good quality alloys.

I am using ZIC A. 10W40. Recently changed but just to mention, the problem has been there even in extreme hot summer weather. It retains for as long as the engine "COLD" indicator remains on, once it goes off, things start improving.

I am guessing its a sensor problem.

Hmmmm... These seem a nice choice to me as long as you follow the OEM wheel specifications.

Original Lenso stuff, theoretically speaking should be light weight and should help improve the ride quality a little bit. Go for them, be careful and touchy about original verified stuff as after all, anything can happen.

getting them from autoexpress in lahore. i have heard good things about them that the stuff they sell is authentic. what do u say.

I have heard good things about them as well, I thought may be you're getting them from F-10 or Blue Area. Get them and get the guarantee of being originals written in hard on the receipt. Just a few words that "The wheels are guaranteed originals".

That way, you'll make sure they can be challenged in any consumer court if the stuff is proven fake at any stage.

Take the car to someplace which has an obd scanner, the stft (short term fuel trim) must be fluctuating, if it isnt then the sensor could do with a cleaning, cheaper to just clean it anyways. Get in touch with xulfiqar for more reliable info. I am an anari

looks nice. shudnt weight much i guess. btw, about the rims, i believe its mostly a visual upgrade. so as long as the size is correct, go for whatever design u like... this one sure is a unique design...

Agreed. Alloys are always about looks..I personally liked them acc they are original lensos
