bro fuel economy depends alot on driving habits.if u want economy.its better u change gears at 2.5k rpm.atleast the 1st 3 gears.at max u shud touch 3000rpm not more then that.the next thing is that dont accelerate hard,sum ppl hav the habbit of flooring the padel,even if u dnt take the rpms to more then 3k,still,u wud loose economy if u accelerate hard.the best is to press the padel gentally nd as press if farther when u hav already gained the speed for what ever distance u had taken the padel to.i mean,just b gentel to the race padel.
and yeas u can get 14km/ltr in city easily if u drive it nicely.
well,15" wheels are NOT recomemded.bro steermatic is 1500cc so it has the power to handle more weight of the wheels.sure u can put 15" wheels in idsi as many ppl hav but it wud decrease the economy,pick-up nd comfort as u wud hav to reduce the profile size.but it wud give u nice handleing.
i wud recommend u to go for 14" rimz....i hav checked on the net nd the best size which is very ver near to the originl size(diameter,circumference etc) is 185/65/R14
by putting this,it wud only effect less the 2% of the original size.i dnt remember exactly but i think it was 1.47% larger or smaller then the original.nd anything less then 3% difference is OK.so it wont put a huge effect alot on the speedometer,economy,comforts etc.

hhmmm yeah thats a nice point.i never thought on this or i wud hav changed the battery when the car was new.now the battery is more then a year old nd the horn sounds dull when the engine is shut off wid the parking lights on,so i think its time to change the battery...!!! wud try to go for a dry 1...!!!
